Rigid bronchoscopy

Abstract

Rigid bronchoscopy is indicated for the presence of significant bleeding, a foreign body, or in pediatric patients. A thorough knowledge of endobronchial anatomy and expertise with rigid bronchoscopy is a necessity for the practicing general thoracic surgeon.
