Abstract
On the basis of our experience it seems to us that thoracoscopy deserves a permanent place in the diagnosis and therapy of pleural-pulmonary diseases, particularly spontaneous pneumothorax, pleurisy, localized tumors of the pleura, the thoracic wall, diphragma and mediastinum and some cases of diffuse pulmonary lesions.
