Data are presented as fold changes after exposure to particles with a 50% cut-off aerodynamic diameter of 10 μm (100 µg·cm−2) compared with unexposed cultures, as calculated from the semiquantitative array membranes (fig. 2⇑). Cytokines with a variation >50% in relation to the control were considered relevant and are expressed in this table.
