SARS-CoV-2: severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. #: for patients who had no travel history to Wuhan, China, but had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient (index patient) within 14 days before symptom onset, the exposure time was defined as the first day of close contact with the index patient. The time of SARS-CoV-2 exposure before onset in 45 patients was determined through epidemiological inspection; among them, 15 were critical cases.
