Data are presented as change in z-score (95% CI) from linear regression models. FEV1: forced expiratory volume in 1 s; FVC: forced vital capacity; FEF25–75%: mean forced expiratory flow between 25% and 75% of FVC; FEF75%: forced expiratory flow at 75% of FVC; SBP: systolic blood pressure; DBP: diastolic blood pressure; MAP: mean arterial pressure; PE/HELLP: pre-eclampsia/haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelets. The z-scores of spirometry are standardised by fetal sex, age, ethnicity and height. Maternal blood pressure is analysed per 5 mmHg. Models were adjusted for possible confounders: maternal age, maternal ethnicity, pre-pregnancy body mass index, educational level, nulliparity, smoking habits during pregnancy, folic acid use and child's sex. *: p<0.05.
