The warning signs was dominated by back and chest pain. Twelve patients had neurological signs. The diagnosis was made by the highlighting of BK on direct examination and culture in the pus of the para-vertebral abscess in 7 cases, by the histological study of the disco-vertebral biopsy in 8 cases, the biopsy of another tuberculous site in 3 cases, positivity of the GeneXpert test in the bronchial suction fluid in one case and in front of a radioclinical arguments associated with a good evolution under anti-bacillary treatment in 16 cases. Surgical drainage was associated in 8 cases. The evolution has been good in all cases. The insidious evolution of disco-vertebral lesions in pott’s disease delays its diagnosis in the absence of neurological signs. The early start-up of the antibacillary treatment associated with multidisciplinary neurosurgical and radio-interventional management; thanks to the contribution of MRI; improved the prognosis.FootnotesCite this article as: European Respiratory Journal 2021; 58: Suppl. 65, PA2277.This abstract was presented at the 2021 ERS International Congress, in session “Prediction of exacerbations in patients with COPD”.This is an ERS International Congress abstract.
