AB  - Aim: We aimed to evaluate the features and underlying diseases of the patients' who diagnosed laryngomalacia.Material-Method: We evaluated 50 patients with laryngomalacia who followed between September 2012-September 2014 retrospectively.Results: Average ages of patients were 17,6±9,2 months (4-38 months, 29 boy, 21 girl). Twenty two of the patients diagnosed with laryngomalacia by bronchoscopy and rest of them clinicaly. Thirty four (68%) of the patients' symptoms started in the first 30 days of life, rest of them were after the 30 days. In follow-up 22 (44%) of the patients' symptoms completely, 21 (42%) of the patients partially recovered. Bronchoscopy was not performed 14 of completely recovered 22 patients. Ten of these patients are recovered before age of 1, 4 of them recovered between age 1-2. Five of the patients (22,8%) who were performed bronchoscopy have only laryngomalacia, but 22 of them have another pathology as tracheomalacia, bronchomalacia with laryngomalacia. Three of 5 patients who have not another pathology then laryngomalacia are recovered before age of 1, 1 of recovered between age 1-2, 1 of not recovered. One of the patient with another pathology in bronchoscopy has recovered before age 1, 3 of them has recovered between age 1-2. Nineteen of 50 patients have evaluated with echocardiography, 8 of them (42,1%) have pathology.Conclusion: The patients with laryngomalacia who have another airway pathologies such as tracheomalacia or bronchomalacia, recover lately. Bronchoscopy should be performed to the patients who are symptomatic or whose symptoms did not recovered before age 1.
