Bronchiolitis is the leading cause of hospitalisation for lower respiratory tract illness (LRTI) among infants [1]. It is usually caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) but also results from human metapneumovirus, rhinovirus, adenovirus or other viruses [2].
