The affiliation details of the article authors J. Serrano, V. Plaza and J. Sanchis were presented incorrectly, as the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona was not credited. The affiliation should have appeared as: “Dept de Pneumologia, Hospital Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain”. The authors apologise for this error.
