CME in the ERJ The ERJ regularly features CME (continuing medical education) articles. CME articles are peer-reviewed studies that are considered to be of a high educational value for life-long learning, enabling respiratory physicians and researchers to advance and further validate their knowledge. These articles are accredited by EBAP (the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology), an organisation that accredits international CME activities according to the rules set by European bodies such as the UEMS/EACCME. CME credits are recognised as a mark of continuing education in Europe at a national authority level. To earn credits on ERJ articles: read a CME article featured in the ERJ by clicking its [PDF] or [HTML] link. Access to the articles is based on membership to the ERS or subscription to the ERJ. A CME question form is available alongside the PDF; access this by clicking the appropriate [CME] link. A list of all ERJ CME articles can be found here. The CME form can be completed and submitted online. Alternatively, you can complete the form and email it to info{at}ersj.org.uk or post it to ERSJ Ltd, 442 Glossop Road, Sheffield, S10 2PX, UK. Successful exam respondents will be awarded 1 CME credit per article. From January 1, 2010, CME credits will be free of charge.
