CME in the ERJ
The ERJ regularly features CME (continuing medical education) articles. CME articles are peer-reviewed studies that are considered to be of a high educational value for life-long learning, enabling respiratory physicians and researchers to advance and further validate their knowledge. These articles are accredited by EBAP (the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology), an organisation that accredits international CME activities according to the rules set by European bodies such as the UEMS/EACCME. CME credits are recognised as a mark of continuing education in Europe at a national authority level.
To earn credits on ERJ articles: read a CME article featured in the ERJ by clicking its [PDF] or [HTML] link. Access to the articles is based on membership to the ERS or subscription to the ERJ. A CME question form is available alongside the PDF; access this by clicking the appropriate [CME] link.

The CME form can be completed and submitted online. Alternatively, you can complete the form and email it to info{at}ersj.org.uk or post it to ERSJ Ltd, 442 Glossop Road, Sheffield, S10 2PX, UK. Successful exam respondents will be awarded 1 CME credit per article.
From May 1, 2009, there will be a charge for CME credit applications. For £30, you can make six attempts at the educational questions in issues of the ERJ.
