We composed a synoptical table containing relevant CT findings of each IIP. Before, we conducted a systematic review about the typical findings of IIP in CT and compared it with our clinical experience. The literature research did not reveal the existence of a synoptical table of the IIP findings. The table columns contain the relevant findings "reticular", "nodular", "ground glass", "consolidation", "traction bronchiectases", "special findings", as well as their distribution, and common DD. The table rows contain the IIP according to the current international classification. The quantitative and / or qualitative description (e. g. "rare", "always, perilymphatic") of each CT finding as found in the literature was transferred into the cells of a table. To further support quick orientation, a plain table layout was chosen. The table is the first literature-based synoptical presentation of IIP findings as a practical tool for the daily work of reading CT.
