Earlier two doctors and the one nurse took part in training of patients, now it is 4 doctors and 3 nurses. For the 3-year period adherence to treatment increased by 27%, but that's not enough.New in our direction of training is to divide patients into groups depending on other conditions involving other specialists to the training programs and the development of collaborative forms of learning. The main aim of this approach is to improve adherence to treatment not only for COPD, but also for concomitant pathology. The training involved cardiologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, psychologists and other specialists. There were mixed forms of education: lectures, group lessons, questionnaires, demonstration of films, rehabilitation activities. Conclusions: on the basis of a mixed approach to educating patients with COPD adherence to treatment increased from 27% to 41%, diagnostics of comorbid pathology, especially psychosomatic disorders, has improved.
