Comorbidity often determinate functional capacity, health status and mortality in this kind of patients. However relationship between lung injury and co-existing diseases is still under investigation.The aim of study was to reveal influence of comorbidity rate on SP-D level in patients (pts) with COPD.Study population and methods. 40 out-patients with stable COPD (Stage II-IV) were surveyed. Plasma SP-D evaluation, spirometry, calculation of comorbidity rate by source documentation analysis were performed for all pts.Results. In accordance with comorbidity rate all pts were divided on three groups: Group I – pts without any co-existing disease; Group II – pts with one and Group III – pts with two or more comorbid conditionsSP-D level in pts with different comorbidity rate presents in table 1.View this table:Conclusion.High comorbidity rate did not associate with SP-D level changes in patient with COPD. %U
