Plasma SP-D, spirometry and smoking status evaluation were performed for all pts.Results. In accordance with smoking status all pts were divided on three groups: Group I – pts who have never smoked; Group II – current smokers and Group III – ex-smokers.All groups were similar regarding to sex, age, spirometry data and disease duration.SP-D level in pts with different smoking status presents in table 1.View this table:Conclusions.Both current and ex-smokers with COPD have significantly higher SP-D level than pts, who have never smoked.The difference in SP-D between current and ex-smokers was not statistically significant.
