However, only 19% of physicians knew all the criteria of asthma harshness. Among the 84 doctors who performed a demonstration of the use of inhaled devices, 12% have fulfilled all the steps for a spray pump usage. These results are comparable to other GPs for which the misuse varies from 58 to 94%. The main expectation of asthmatic children toward the school physician for the management of asthma in school and how to use the devices prescribed, (87%) emphasizing the lack of information received or retained by asthmatic children during consultations.Conclusion: The knowledge enhancement of signs of severe asthma attack and the use of inhaled devices could advantageously be one of school doctor promotion.
