Approved by the Ethics Committee and obtained the informed consent, we chose ASD occluder device to close the fistula through trachea by bronchoscope.The process was performed under general anesthesia. The occluder was conveyed through the fistula by guide wire and sheath. Both discs were expanded under direct vision of bronchoscope.After the procedure, the patient’s condition recovered well. Three months later, we could see that the occluder expanded and fixed well.The treatments for acquired tracheoesophageal fistulas, all with thier own disadvatages, include conservative treatments, surgery and endoscopy treatments.The ASD occluder is self-expandable double-disc connected by a waist and filled with film. The encouraging efficacy in this case indicated that this procedure may be effective in selective patients.
