Demographic data of patients like age, gender, number of cigarettes per day, score of Fagerstrom nicotin addiction test, carbon monoxide levels and given therapies were recorded. Patients who received nicotin replacement therapy and pharmocological therapy(bupropion or vareniklin) were included study.RESULTS: 933 male, 413 female total 1346 patients submitted to smoking cessation polyclinic.View this table:609 patients received nicotin replacement therapy,184 patients received vareniklin and 423 patients received bupropion. We reached 721 patients.272 of 721 patients (37,7%) quitted smoking during the therapy. But 31% of these patients started smoking after therapy finished. Smoking quitting rate of patients received vareniklin, bupropion and nicotin replacement therapy were 31% (32 of 104 patients), 26% (66 of 262 patients),and 25% (88 of 355 patients) respectively.CONCLUSION: smoking is a serious public health problem that should not be neglected.
