Open lung biopsy revealed bronchiolitis obliterans of the constrictive type. This case suggests a possible aetiological role for gold in the pathogenesis of constrictive bronchiolitis obliterans, or alternatively an association between psoriatic arthritis and this inflammatory airway condition.
