An experience of tobacco before 15yo is associated with a 70.5% rate of daily smokers and 20.6% rate of occasional smokers at 18-19yo; when experienced came after 17yo a 56.5% daily smokers rate and 39.1% occasional smokers was reported at 18-19yo.The ratio of only daily smoker/smoker increase with the decrease of age of first experimentation. For an initiation before 15 years old, 77.4% for an initiation before 15yo, 74.1% for an initiation between 15 and 17 yo, and 66.0% for an initiation after 17yo. The tobacco dependence asses by HIS is higher in early experimenters. Conclusions: An initiation of tobacco before 15 years is associate with a high rate of daily smokers and high tobacco dependence at 18-19 yo. All measure who postpone the age of tobacco experimentation are welcome.
