Technological progress has enabled the use of flexible bronchoscopy an associated instruments in the removal of these foreign bodies.Foreign body aspiration has been diagnosed with rigid bronchoscopy but removal could only be achieved with flexible bronchoscopy have been presented here.Case 1: 15 months old subject presented with cough and cyanosis while eating nuts. Thus rigid bronchoscopy was performed and pieces of nut were removed. However decrease of lung sounds on the left side and flexible bronchoscopy was performed. Foreign body was observed in the medial segment of the left lower lobe. We used extractor NGage{\textregistered} Nitinol Stone Extractor.Case 2: 8 months old subject. He was hospitalized with the diagnosis of acute bronchiolitis however the history retaken upon persistence of wheezing. Rigid bronchoscopy was performed and pieces of candy were removed from the left main bronchus. Upon persistence of respiratory distress and air trapping on the left lung on chest X-Ray, flexible bronchoscopy was performed. Foreign body was visualized in the left lower lobe medial segment and removed.Case 3: Seven months old subject presented with sudden cyanosis while eating sunflower.Rigid bronchoscopy revealed foreign body on the left upper lobe however could not be removed. Flexible bronchoscopy was performed and the foreign body was removed.Conclusion: Flexible bronchoscopy is not used commonly for removal of foreign body aspiration. However, combination of this flexible scopes with video technology might increase their use in this indication due to the non-traumatic nature of the procedure.}, issn = {0903-1936}, URL = {https://erj.ersjournals.com/content/48/suppl_60/PA3152}, eprint = {https://erj.ersjournals.com/content}, journal = {European Respiratory Journal} }
