Figure S1. Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) inhibits acrolein-, GSK1017690A- or hypoosmolar-induced vagus nerve depolarisation via activation of CB2 receptors. PEA (100 nM) inhibited depolarisation of the isolated guinea-pig vagus evoked by the TRPA1 agonist acrolein (300 μM), the synthetic TRPV4 agonist GSK1016790A (300 nM) or the endogenous TRPV4 agonist hypoosmotic solution (-80 mOsm).
